Plastic Manufacturing Capabilities

At Neodesha Plastics, we are a vertically integrated manufacturer. We provide end-to-end support from design validation through tooling, production, finishing, and assembly. Our facility brings advanced thermoforming, rotomolding, and precision CNC machining under one roof to accelerate your time-to-market and ensure consistency at scale.

From automotive to medical to marine, leaders choose us not just for capabilities, but for confidence. Confidence that their parts will are delivered on time, to spec, and with the flexibility to scale when needed.

Early Stage Design & Engineering for Manufacturability (DFM)

Our DFM methodology bridges the gap between concept and capability, helping you avoid redesign cycles and accelerate time to market.

We don’t just validate your drawings—we help evolve them.

Our DFM analysis includes:

  • Material Optimization: Guidance on polymer selection for mechanical strength, UV resistance, impact tolerance, or FDA/marine compliance
  • Geometric Review: Evaluation of wall thickness, draft angles, and radii to improve material flow, minimize thinning, and reduce stress points
  • Tooling Alignment: Tailored recommendations for CNC-machined, cast aluminum, or fabricated steel tooling—based on project complexity and volume targets
  • Assembly Readiness: Design for Assembly (DFA) strategies to minimize fasteners, simplify sub-assembly, and reduce labor in the final build

Prototyping & Tooling Strategies

Before you commit to full production, we support fast-turn prototyping using material-specific CNC or short-run tooling. Whether you’re validating geometry, assessing fit, or presenting to investors, we tailor prototyping to your needs and speed. Lead times as fast as 2–4 weeks.

Prototyping options:

CNC-machined molds for ultra-fast turnaround

Fabricated molds for large or low-detail parts

Cast aluminum for durable, medium-volume needs

Marine cup holders with chrome applique insert

Core Manufacturing Capabilities

Advanced Thermoforming

Thermoforming is the backbone of production at Neodesha Plastics. With 42 active forming stations—including twin-spindle rotary machines—we combine speed, scale, and precision to meet complex part requirements for OEMs across industries. Our thermoforming services span vacuum forming, pressure forming, enabling us to match the right process to each project’s structural, aesthetic, and volume needs.

Our rotary twin-spindle machines cut cycle times by up to 20% compared to standard systems, while “snap-back” forming enhances wall uniformity and surface consistency. Whether for rugged structural trays or high-finish enclosures, we deliver form, function, and repeatability at scale.

Thermoforming Process Types We Offer:

  • Vacuum Forming: Vacuum forming is the foundation of large-part thermoforming—an efficient, versatile process that uses controlled vacuum pressure to draw heated plastic over a mold surface, creating durable, seamless components. It’s well-suited for broad, less complex geometries where structural integrity and production efficiency take priority.
  • Pressure Forming: This process applies both vacuum and compressed air to create crisp surface details and tighter tolerances—ideal for enclosures, panels, and parts with cosmetic visibility requirements.

System Specifications:

  • Sheet sizes up to 168″ x 120″
  • 42 forming stations (including rotary, pressure, and vertical forming)

Common Applications:

  • Equipment housings and large-format panels
  • Utility enclosures and heavy-duty trays
  • Marine parts, medical covers, and automotive interiors

CNC Plastic Machining (3-Axis and 5-Axis)

Our five 5-axis and four 3-axis routers enable precise finishing of complex geometries and large plastic parts. We specialize in post-form trimming of thermoformed or rotomolded components.

CNC Specs:

  • Max part envelope: 120″ x 60″ x 45″
  • Tolerances down to ±0.005″
  • Materials: ABS, polycarbonate, UHMW, Kydex, acrylic, and more

Applications:

  • Cut-to-shape seating substrates
  • Structural trims and edge finishing
  • Instrument panels and fairings

Rotational Molding

Rotomolding is the go-to for large, hollow plastic parts with high structural integrity. Our low-pressure, biaxial process creates stress-free parts with seamless construction—ideal for rugged applications.

Rotomolding Highlights:

  • Uniform wall thickness
  • Molded-in inserts, textures, and graphics
  • Volume sweet spot: 50–15,000 units/year

Applications:

  • Storage tanks and marine floats
  • Safety housings and ducting
  • Medical transport and containment units

Value-Added Capabilities

Plastic Part Flocking

Using an electrostatic process, we apply a velvet-like finish to ABS parts—offering both noise dampening and a high-end aesthetic. Flocking is especially valuable for parts in automotive, consumer electronics, and interior environments.

Assembly & Kitting

We provide mechanical fastening, bonded sub-assembly, and complete kitting services. This helps customers reduce production time and simplify logistics.

Outcome: Fewer suppliers, fewer SKUs, and faster integration into your production line.

Support Services Include:

Component assembly (rivets, adhesives, mechanical fastening)

Kitting for downstream assembly

Labeling and packaging

Quality Assurance, Compliance & Traceability

We maintain ISO compliance as a baseline for our quality system—ensuring every process is documented, traceable, and continuously optimized for performance. Beyond general compliance, our operations are tailored to meet industry-specific demands. We provide full traceability, including MSDS, Certificates of Analysis (CoA), PPAP and regulatory compliance data
