NPI developed plastic part flocking to meet customer requests. Plastic part flocking is a value added step to give your plastic part a high wear and high end finish which improves the end user quality perception. The luxurious feel also dampens noise.

The NPI plastic part flocking process includes a part sprayed with a water based adhesive, then the custom plastic part is electrostatically charged as the flocking is applied. The final process is to oven bake the plastic part to improve adhesion of the flocking for longer wear.
